The Weekend

Well first I would like to just say War Eagle to everyone, even though I've seen a soccer game have more points total at the end of the game(the score ended 3-2). Auburn and Mississippi States Defense played very well, but I cant say that about the offense with no touchdowns and Wes Byram going 1-3 in field goals. In any case it was a rough game and a win is a win. Now that I've gotten that off my shoulders I can start writing about thing that I probably need to write about besides sports.Even though I could fill up 10 pages of college football talk, but I'm not going to.

This weekend my roommate, two other friends and I left saturday at around 12:45 for the Auburn @ Mississippi State football game. On the way up there we had a great drive including music, talking, laughter and a game called Catch Phrase(I call it the game of Satan, I hate that game with a passion). We also took one or two wrong turns on the way up there, but those weren't my fault, despite what anyone thinks. We arrived at the game around 3:30(2 and a half hours before it started) but weren't able to find a place to park till 4:00. My intentions of going there were mostly to see my best friends from high school I haven't seen in a little more than a month. We tailgated and hung-out will the game, and went to the game and sat in the student section, which is amazing!

While hanging out with them I realized how much I miss them, and hanging out with them every single day sense my 10th grade year of high school. I also realized that I am the type of person that I am today because of them. We all influenced each other in a good way. We never did anything wrong, and had fun no matter what we were doing whether it was going to Destin for Spring Break or just going to someone's house to watch a football game. And even though they will meet new friends at their college and I will meet new friends here at Mississippi College(already have) we will still be close no matter where life takes us. I appreciate everything they have done for me, and for being just great friends. This weekend was amazing and there are plenty of more awesome weekends to come

and again WAR EAGLE!

I agree with your football analysis. Field goals were ugly and pitiful. Look like two high school teams to me. I was suppossed to go but did not have the chance due to a few things that came up

Wow, you've got me thinking about my friends back home, if I start crying its your fault, but really though this was a great blog...
