This weekend I went to NT formal in Memphis, TN. We left Friday around 3:30 and arrived in Memphis at 6:50. We had planned to go to a Memphis Grizzlies game at 7, but of course it took the girl 1 hour to get ready for a basketball game so we didn't arrive to the game till the end of the 3rd quarter. After the end of the game, we headed to Beale St. and ate at a BBQ restaurant, and watched a live, Elvis impersonator. He was pretty good, but most of all the food was really good. Afterwards we went to a bar and danced as a live band was playing till we were kicked out at 12, because it was only 21 and older after 12:00. We went back to the hotel and the guys stayed up till around 3:30 and slept till 2:45 just in time to watch the SEC Championship. GO GATORS!!! It was an awesome game, and an even better ending, because I did not want Alabama to win at all. That night we wen to NT formal and had an awesome time, and went to an after party at the BB King Blues Club on Beale St. and stayed there till 2:00. The next morning we got up and left to go home at 12:00, stopped to eat lunch and arrived back at MC around 4:30pm. That night I got pretty sick(which is why im writing this blog on Monday) and stayed up mast of the night with a fever.

Thanksgiving!!
If you were not informed last week, it was Thanksgiving, the perfect excuse to eat as much as you want, and no one telling you to stop(before you get fat). I stuffed my face this week. The week started of on Tuesday night when I arrived home, and went to my brother's basketball tournament where they ended up getting second, losing by one point in the championship(it was a lucky shot). The next day(Wednesday) I slept till around 1:00pm, and then went to the new Bass Pro Shop in Leeds, Alabama with my friends who were also home from college. That afternoon I went to my brother's championship game, and afterwards my frineds and I went and saw a movie, Role Models(it was awesome).
The next day my family and I went to Tuscalooser(I mean Tuscaloosa) and had Thanksgiving with my Dad's side of the family(my uncle, aunt and my cousin, and little cousins). It was an awesome time, cause I have the best little cousins ever! We spent the day there and came back that night so my mom could cook for our families Thanksgiving we were having on Friday. The next morning I got up and went and worked at my old construction job to get a little money, because I am a broke college student. That afternoon we had our families Thanksgiving along with my youth minister. Saturday I went to the Iron Bowl(don' t want to talk about it) then I cam back home and we decorated our Christmas tree. I came back to Mississippi College on Sunday afternoon, after an amazing Thanksgiving break.
I am already excited about Christmas Break!!! 24 more days till Christmas

Civitan Weekend
This weekend was one of the happiest weekends of my life, hand down. Yesterday started off very well after my two classes. I went to the store and got my gift for my date too Civitan Informal that night. After I went and hung out with some friends till it was time to get ready for the night. I picked up my date (Hillary Cadenhead) and another couple and went to Bonzi Sushi Bar and Habatchy Grill around 6:00 and had an amazing meal. Civitan Informal was held in Vicksburg and started at 8:00 p.m and we arrived at 8:15 p.m at had the time of my life. My pledge brothers and I were pinned and spent the rest of the time at Informal celebrating with one another. My date was amazing and we had a great time, and when it was over I was wishing I could have started the whole day over.
Today I didn't do very much because I didn't wake up until 5:00 p.m and it was amazing. When I woke up I went and had dinner from one of my friends room who had pizza. After that I was pretty much bored for the rest of the day, except for hanging out with friends and knowing in my mind that I was an active in Civitan and I didn't have to d anything because rush is OVER. I love all my pledge brothers and all my new brothers and I'm hoping to get know each of my new brothers.

The Weekend at Home
This weekend I went home to work at my home church's fall retreat. I had ben looking forward to it for weeks and it had finally arrived. I was responsible for the 8th grade boys, and by that it means i stayed with them in the cabins, was responsible for their D-Groups and just made sure they did what they were suppose to do. The first night in the cabins they stayed up till around 3 or so, cause if you don't know, it is pretty difficult to get 12 8th graders asleep at the same time. The whole weekend was filled with excitement, joy, chaos, and anything else you can imagine would come out of 220 people in the same place. God was defiantly there this weekend through our worship, prayer, quiet times in the morning, the speaker was amazing.
Sorry I don't have more, I'm typing this while I have a temperature of 101.8

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, completely forgot last week.
This weekend has been crazy and awesome at the same time. My parents came up to Mississippi College during Parent Weekend, and it was awesome to get to see them. I hung out with them as much as possible, due to other things going on over the weekend that i had previously planned before I knew they were coming. Saturday was the football game, and I was able to go with my parents to that. Before we tailgated out in the quad which was an awesome time, and after cleaning up we left to go to the game at 6:00. We ended up winning 21-19(congrats to the football team). I had a lot of fun at the game hanging out with my parents and my friends.
Sunday rolled around and I over slept my alarm and got ready in 10 minutes(new record for me) but was still 10 minutes late for church, cause I went over the speed limit the whole way there. It was an awesome service going through James, and talking about holding your tongue. Afterwards, my friends that rode with me and I went to Zaxbys and to the most amazing place on earth......Bass Pro Shop!! I am truly convinced that there will be on in heaven(probably not, but I'm still going to think that. Then I got back and did a couple more things with all my friends for the rest of the day. I've had a long and tiring weekend, but it still was awesome.
BTW- I'm still an Auburn fan till I die, WAR EAGLE!!

I have really nothing to write so this might be pretty short.
This weekend was kind of quiet and relaxing, except for the Auburn vs LSU game (War Eagle anyways). Friday was just a normal day of school from 9:00-10:50, and I just hungout the rest of the day, and washed clothes ALL day. Washing clothes is the only thing I hate more that going to class. That night I just hungout, ate and relaxed as much as possible. The next day I didnt wake up till 1:00p.m(amazing!) and then I went to heaven on earth..THE BASS PRO SHOP. Two friends and I went around 2:00 and stayed till around 3:15, it was awesome. I truly believe there will be a Bass Pro Shop in heaven.
I'm not even going to talk about the Auburn Game!!!
Sunday i woke up and went to Pinelake Church for the first time, and loved it alot. The music was awesome, along with the pastor who was awesome, and delivered an awesome lesson. Afterwards me and about 7 other friends went to one f my friends parents house, and her parents cooked an amazing HOMECOOKED meal. When I got back I took a nap(which are amazing) and then I went to Pinelake small group that night. There, it is just a bunch of guys that sit around, eat and talk about the Lord, and I love every minute of it!

The Weekend
Well first I would like to just say War Eagle to everyone, even though I've seen a soccer game have more points total at the end of the game(the score ended 3-2). Auburn and Mississippi States Defense played very well, but I cant say that about the offense with no touchdowns and Wes Byram going 1-3 in field goals. In any case it was a rough game and a win is a win. Now that I've gotten that off my shoulders I can start writing about thing that I probably need to write about besides sports.Even though I could fill up 10 pages of college football talk, but I'm not going to.
This weekend my roommate, two other friends and I left saturday at around 12:45 for the Auburn @ Mississippi State football game. On the way up there we had a great drive including music, talking, laughter and a game called Catch Phrase(I call it the game of Satan, I hate that game with a passion). We also took one or two wrong turns on the way up there, but those weren't my fault, despite what anyone thinks. We arrived at the game around 3:30(2 and a half hours before it started) but weren't able to find a place to park till 4:00. My intentions of going there were mostly to see my best friends from high school I haven't seen in a little more than a month. We tailgated and hung-out will the game, and went to the game and sat in the student section, which is amazing!
While hanging out with them I realized how much I miss them, and hanging out with them every single day sense my 10th grade year of high school. I also realized that I am the type of person that I am today because of them. We all influenced each other in a good way. We never did anything wrong, and had fun no matter what we were doing whether it was going to Destin for Spring Break or just going to someone's house to watch a football game. And even though they will meet new friends at their college and I will meet new friends here at Mississippi College(already have) we will still be close no matter where life takes us. I appreciate everything they have done for me, and for being just great friends. This weekend was amazing and there are plenty of more awesome weekends to come
and again WAR EAGLE!
